Bliss

On Friday, my daughter married the boy that she loves.
And that boy married the girl he loves.

She carried a bouquet of pink roses and freesia.

And her brother wore wedding flannel. Yes, wedding flannel, with permission.

You have to love a happy ending.

My wish for them? Bliss. Forever.

I love it that they, at such a young age, did not feel the need to follow 'traditonal' wedding garb, and expense. I love it that they were simply themselves. Married on a Friday at your house, dressed like they live. I particularly love the flannel shirt, and the courage and permission given to wear it. We need to take back our own selves and be ourselves, and live life easier and more simply.
The daughter is as beautiful as the mother!

Wonderful! Was the wedding a small family one at your house? I love the pictures.

To answer the where? It was at our county courthouse. We had to coordinate with Nathan's leave time, so it all went rather quickly! It poured rain all day and broke jsut after they were married. Yikes. Saturday we ahd a huge family gathering at our house. It was a beautiful, busy day. Boy, am I glad I only have one daughter! lol
