A Day With a Friend.

How lucky am I to have been able to spend a few hours with Dawn? Ignore the dorky gal on the right and just take a look at the sweetness that rests in Dawn's lovely face. I had the most wonderful, peaceful time at her home, which is just picture perfect.

She had made lunch for us- the most delicious red pepper-tomato soup and chicken salad on buttery, flaky croissants. Oh, and oyster crackers! My childhood favorite- I would eat them by the handful.
This new addition to her living room wall? It looks even better in person. Is that possible?
How sweet is this? Noah and Ellie.
Noah made chocolate cookies for us to munch on and they were yummy.
Thank you, Noah. You are a wonderful chef.

As a surprise, Dawn created one of her beautiful silver sugar bowl pincushions- just for me! I am so honored to have one of her pieces of artwork in my home.

Thank you, dear friend, for providing me with such a lovely day filled with good food, good conversation and good fun. I have always thought that we were kindred spirits and now I am certain. Your home is a testament to your creativity and keen eye, a flourish of warmth and comfort and it was a joy to spend time there.

Let us not allow too much time to pass before we do this again.

I think there is sweetness in both of your faces! You are a perfect match. I love all the things Dawn has done to her home. What yummies you were served and what a blessing to be gifted one of her beautiful pincushions!
